Palm Beach is nothing short of heavenly in the late Spring. The air is tropical and balmy and scented with night blooming Jasmin and there is still a cool breeze in the evenings. The fleetingness of this time makes it even sweeter, there may only be a few days or weeks of this before the oppressive heat of summer takes hold. I’m not always such an outdoorsy girl, but during this time I never want to go inside. It’s also the perfect time to do a little wardrobe refresh, leaning towards flowing dresses, gauzy cottons and summer weight cashmeres, vintage inspired lace and feminine details, and of course pastels and true summer whites:)
Absolutely in love with these white bougainvillea! The hot pink version are everywhere in south Florida, but these more understated beauties are a bit more rare. They thrive in the heat and can climb fences and cover walls…so dramatic and gorgeous. One can never have enough white accessories for the summertime;)
The sweet Rickrack detailing on this dress gives it such a vintage vibe; it kind of feels like a grown up version of some of my play dresses as a child. Rickrack started out being a sturdy easy way to finish hems on clothing and evolved into a less formal alternative to lace. This little dress came all the way from London but it definitely has a touch of southern charm.

It is always about the details for me. I have had my eye on this pebbled envelope clutch for the longest time and it’s even prettier in person. I don’t get new bags often, so I try to stick with styles that are classic and neutral colors. As one of my best friends’ said, nothing says you are feeling lucky and carefree like carrying a white clutch on a night out;).
